Founded on the 25th of October 1998, Arabcin is a scientific cooperative non-governmental Arab institution, which believes in common Arab action that aims at finding a joint Arab strategy to face the challenges of the Age of Information.
Arabcin works according to its believe that the Arabs are the inheritants of one of the most important civilizations in the ancient world, and thus, they are able to build a distinguished future just as profound as what their forefather have found. Hence, Arabcin is an "organizational tool" that strengthens cooperation and coordination among Arab institutions working in the field of information, documents and archives.
Its membership is open to all specialized Arab sectors in the field of documentation.
In addition to its Arab feature, Arabcin also searches for international cooperation & coordination with relevantly specialized institutions, in both practical & theoretical themes.
One of Arabcin inputs is to learn from the experiences of well-established institutions in the mentioned field. Thus, the output would be to boost the abovementioned objectives of Arabcin & further develop the field of documentation in the Arab world.
The club contains of branches spread all over the Arab Nation. These branches work according to the general strategy of Arabcin. They also coordinate among the institutions that are member at Arabcin in the Arab World. Hence, the branches match between the Volunteer and high creative Work.
