The objectives of the
institution:
Establishing a national central network to link databanks that spread in the Arab world.
Developing relations of cooperation and exchange with Arab and International networks, information, documentation, research and study centers. And building new communication systems by hyperlinks with Arab and foreign databases.
Presenting documentary services through developed communication systems.
Coping with the latest scientific technical developments in the field of ICT and manifesting the role of the Arab nation in the age of information.
Previous and actual activities:
A program on Arab Document Day entitled: "From Dream to Reality". It consists of many important old documents.
A program including addresses of the Executive Bureau, administrative Bureaux and institutions related to Arabcin, and also research and study centers that deal with the club and the most important information on it.
Special program for the Arab Biographic Center including basic information of Arab personages working in different fields.
Special program for the periodic Arabia 3000 and the names of the writers and researchers and their participation in the magazine's publications.
Implementing computer maintenance to the club's departments and institutions.
Other programs:
Establishing a database on Arab translators including basic information on them and their latest works.
Contributing in common projects
in the field of IT with
